Work From Home

This is my first story which is writing for the medium. Since this epidemic which is called as Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), people get locked into their homes. The same situation for me also. This is the 2nd week I’m spending at home. So, I thought better to write something about my feelings while I’m at home. I’m an IT undergraduate at a university. In the final year final semester with full of a load of works.

So now I’m at home. The first couple of days, it was so lazy. Watching TV and doing nothing. Even felt lazy to open my laptop. I was very lazy to do anything. I said to my heart, “If you are going to continue this for the coming days, you are going to suffer. Start doing something”. So, here some tips for you to start working for the future. Write down what you want to be. It may be your ambition, a target, or a sudden feeling like ‘I wanna make a cake today’. Make a small flowchart (I used, https://coggle.it/). You can make goals or milestones. Break the task into small parts. You can make targets by time framing. I know the beginning is bored and slow. You must let it be and keep doing. At some point, you will finish your first target. Put a big tick or mark it, highlight it just saying you completed that task(I use sticky notes to do this). To manage the time, there is a good timer called “Tomato Timer”. Just goto https://tomato-timer.com/ and you know what to do next. So then you will feel that you are on the correct path. Day by day, you will achieve what you wanted to be. Try it and let me know your progress.
